Wednesday, co-founder of Microsoft Corporation (: NASDAQ 🙂 Bill Gates attacked the $44 billion microblogging site purchase plan Twitter Inc (NYSE: NYSE:) from the CEO of Tesla Inc (NASDAQ: NASDAQ: Elon Musk).

“How about something where it is said that vaccines kill people or that Bill Gates is tracking people? It is not entirely clear what he would do.”

Gates said in the same interview that he only had “good things to say about Elon. If it makes Twitter worse, that’s okay, I’ll talk about it, but that’s something I presume.”

Because it’s important Gates’ comments come just days after Musk confirmed that the Microsoft co-founder has a half-billion-dollar exposed position in Tesla. Then he followed up on the hostile takeover of Twitter by Musk himself.

The world’s richest man has been in talks with private equity firms and banks to finance the massive acquisition, which is expected to be completed by the end of the year.
