Moscow holds Ambassador GB meeting after Johnson’s words – Ultima Ora

(ANSA) – MOSCOW, June 30 – Russia has recalled the British ambassador to Moscow following Prime Minister Boris Johnson’s comments about Russian President Vladimir Putin.

The Russian diplomat said in a statement that the British ambassador in Moscow was summoned today to the Russian Foreign Ministry, which protested against Prime Minister Boris Johnson’s “rude” statements about President Vladimir Putin. The statement said Russia “strongly” protested with Ambassador Deborah Brunert over “the rude comments made by the British authorities towards Russia, its leader and officials, as well as the Russian people.” (Dealing).
