Kyiv and Turkey stopped a Russian cargo ship with stolen grain – Ultima Ora

(ANSA) – ROME, July 3 – Turkish customs authorities have stopped a Russian cargo ship carrying grain on its way from the Ukrainian port of Berdyansk to Karasu. This was stated by the Ukrainian ambassador to Turkey, according to the Guardian.

“We have full cooperation. The ship is currently at the entrance to the port and has been detained by the Turkish customs authorities,” Ambassador Vasyl Bodnar told Ukraine’s national television.

Ukraine had requested the seizure of the ship, which was located off the Turkish coast, accusing Russia of stealing Ukrainian wheat, a charge that Russia denied. (Dealing).
