Suffice it to say that in the first six months of 2022 only 25,082 electric cars were sold out of a total of 684,228 new cars registered. But now manufacturers have been launched into the transition and are creating ranges parallel to those with heat engines. This medium is one of the sectors that has seen the greatest commitment from auto manufacturers. The latest contenders in the chronological order are the Toyota bZ4X and Nissan Ariya, which are awaiting the Volkswagen ID.4, the Hyundai Ioniq 5, the Kia EV6, the Ford Mustang Mach E and the Skoda INIAC IV.
there Toyota bZ4X It is a crossover with a length of 469, a width of 186 and a height of 165 cm. It will arrive in Italy from September with a list price starting from about 50,000 euros, for the front-wheel drive version with 204 hp in the “basic” version and 3,000 euros more for the 4×4 with 218 hp. In both, the maximum speed is 160 km / h, while the 0-100 km / h sprint is 8.4 seconds for the first and 7.7 seconds. The lithium-ion battery of the Toyota bZ4X is integrated into the platform floor, has a capacity of 71.4 kWh and ensures a range of 516 to 470 km, respectively for two-wheel drive and 4×4. Interior space is plentiful and loading capacity is 452 liters. To keep consumption away, they are equipped with a heat pump heating system. The battery can be quickly recharged from 0 to 80% in about 30 minutes using the 150 kW (CCS2) poles or, alternatively, the 11 kW three-phase charger can be used on board.

Hyundai Ioniq 5

The dashboard is simple, with two 12.3-inch screens placed side by side within a single strut. The Hyundai Ioniq 5 is offered with a rear-wheel drive only (for entryway installations), or with four-wheel drive and two engines, one front and rear. In the first case, the power is 170 or 218 hp, with 350 Nm of maximum torque: the declared speed of “0-100” is 8.5 and 7.4 seconds, respectively. In 4×4 versions, the auxiliary engine has a power of 72 hp or 95 hp, which makes the more powerful version over 300 hp combined and a value of 605 Nm of maximum torque: according to the house, it takes 5.2 seconds to go from zero to 100 km / h ( 6.1) seconds for the less powerful 4×4 version).Accumulators, 58 kWh or 72.6 kWh for the more powerful versions, thanks to an 800-volt architecture that allows for ultra-fast recharging, as the batteries accept up to 220 kWh according to what has been announced, The batteries should be able to recover up to 100 km of autonomy in less than 5 minutes and go from 10 to 80% in about 18 minutes. Three versions are available: Progress, Innovation and Evolution, with prices ranging from 44,750 euros, passing through 48,450 for the medium version up to 60,250 for the top version with a long-range battery 72.6 kWh.

Volkswagen ID 4

The ID.4 GTX version is also available with all-wheel drive, a 77 kWh battery and 299 hp. Its final range is 477 km. The rigor of the structure is also found inside the passenger compartment, which has enough space for five adults, and those who sit in the middle of the sofa do not have a tunnel between their feet, because the floor is flat. The atmosphere is rather simple. The instrument panel features a small 7-inch digital instrument panel that contains only essential information and a central display that ranges from 10 to 12 depending on the version.

there Kia EV6 It’s a family crossover, but the performance of the more aggressive variants is that of a supercar. With a length of 469, a width of 189 and a height of 155 cm, in addition to the “cousin” Ioniq 5 (the two cars share the same technical body) is one of the most original models available. Looking at it, the unprecedented proportions immediately catch the eye: a mix between that of a sports car and that of an SUV. The interior of the Kia EV6 also follows the technological pattern of the bodywork. The instrument panel is dominated by two 12.3-inch screens placed side by side in one pillar: one is responsible for the multimedia system, and the other, placed behind the steering wheel, provides useful information while driving. The different versions of the Kia EV6 are the result of a combination of two battery packs, rear-wheel drive or all-wheel drive, and different power levels. The base and standard range GT-line with a 58 kWh battery can be rear-wheel drive (170 hp and 350 Nm of torque) or with all-wheel drive (235 hp / 605 Nm). The battery of the long-range versions rises to 77.4 kWh plus power and torque: 229 hp / 350 Nm for two-wheel drive and 325 hp / 605 Nm for all-wheel drive. The list price of the 299 HP Air with a 77.4 kWh battery starts at 50,950 euros up to 54,450 euros for the 325-hp version with two engines. Prices for the GT-line range from €59,950 for the 229-hp version to €63,450 for the 325-hp version.

Ford Mustang Match E
The name and muscle are the same as the perfect muscle car, but the powertrain and body are completely different. We are talking about Ford Mustang Mach-E, the electric SUV of the American company, which is distinguished by a particularly muscular and sporty style. It has a length of 471, a width of 188 and a width of 160 cm. It has a trunk with a capacity of 402 liters and a front cockpit of 136 liters. The interior is minimal. The passenger compartment features a large 15.5-inch screen that extends vertically through which all key functions of the vehicle are controlled. Three versions are available: Mach-E (€62,650) with rear-wheel drive autonomy of 440 or 610 km depending on the battery from 75.7 or 98.8 kWh, (power, depending on the battery, varies from 279 to 294 hp), Mach -E AWD, with two engines that give it all-wheel drive, autonomy from 400 to 540 km depending on battery size (power range from 269 to 361 hp), and finally there is the GT that costs 84,250 km, has a range of 500 km, 465 hp and a battery of 99 km Watts per hour.

SKODA ENYAQ iV

The space inside the passenger compartment is plentiful and the finishes are good. The dashboard follows the minimal style of ID.4 “Cousin”. Good equipment for driving assistance systems. Being a Skoda, it is distinguished by the many “smart” solutions that exist.

As a result of the new stylistic path of the Japanese house, the Nissan Aria Its length is 460 cm and is built on the CMF-EV platform of the Renault-Nissan-Mitsubishi Alliance. Also distinctive is the unprecedented grille, which does not have a chrome “V”-shaped frieze.
