Mariarosa Muyoli with John Paul II
Unexpected tragedy: Mariarosa Muoli, the historic owner, with her husband Armando Santi, of the Armando e Mariarosa flower shop, on Via Vanvola, yesterday morning, suddenly disappeared at the age of 62.
The shop owner had founded the shop with her husband 44 years ago, and over the decades has always been a reference point for the sector.
Among the works that Mariarosa herself loved to remember from her long career was the preparation of the altarpiece of St. Peter’s Basilica in Rome for the Jubilee of the Vatican Curia on February 22, 2000.
A heart attack took her away from her loved ones when she was only 62 years old.
The funeral will take place on Tuesday 11 July at the Carmelo Chapel in Viale Milan at 9:00.
